Walk On (Hallelujah Mix) a U2 cover by Darlene Zschech from Hillsong
A cover of a U2 song by Darlene Zschech of Walk On (Hallelujah Mix) which is the version U2 sings live and released as a B side to a single. This version of Walk On by U2 was also released on a special EP called 7 which consists of various B sides from U2′s album “All You Can’T Leave Behind”. The EP was exclusively released in America at Target stores in 2002. This version of Walk On was also performed live on TV soon after 9/11 and can be found on the double CD “America: A Tribute To Heroes” which also appears Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Neil Young etc. The song ends with the repeated chant “Hallelujah”. On this version by Darlene, Martin Smith from Delirious? appears as a guest vocalist. And love is not the easy thing, the only baggage you can bring is all that you can’t leave behind. A very bland cover of a song that was writen for people who give up their lives for others in love, done by a church which preaches greed. Kind of Orwellian.

God is. You know it if you have reason. You know it also even more if you have Catholic faith. You will be happy, I suppose, to say that you don’t have Catholic faith and unfortunately it is true. However, you will not be happy to know that you don’t have reason also. You only think you have reason and how proud you are that you have it. @tleh1 she is not suppose to impersonate U2 either. A good artist puts her own spin on cover songs. She certainly did this on this song. Some will like it and some will not. That’s life! You can’t please everyone.

Ok .. Actually, She has tapped into a style of worship music and singing that has worked for them financially, but I think a little diversity in theyr approach could be good, that why all the UNited stuff has come along.. She still sounds ver much the same as when she started out 15 yrs ago… time to change!!

@wealthmaker19739 all U2 music sounds the same it is called the U2 sound. Each artist develops their own sound and stamps their personal style on their songs. Not every artist is as diverse as the Beatles. She has great vocal skills. You just don’t know much about music!
