An awesome song by Lincoln Brewster from his “Today Is The Day” CD. Co-written by Mia Fieldes of Hillsong, with Darlene Zschech singing along with him. It’s an anthem about social injustice. It’s sort of cool how the song spans four generations of Lincoln’s family. His grandmother plays piano, and there is a percussion sound that occurs at various places in the song, and that’s the sound of his son Liam’s heart beating before he was born. Wow! Pretty creative.

@coolram52 Awana is a blessing. Been a T&T leader for four years, and the more years I put into it the crazier the boys are. Also just don’t wear the yellow shirts, they are evil and full of authority. *hides*

@ispeaknonsense Too funny! I included that AWANA pic because I am an AWANA leader and I needed a picture about “giving”. AWANA leaders sure do give! I’ve done Cubbies, Sparkies, and T&T. One year I was a floater and worked wherever the club was short-handed that night. I would show up wearing all three leader shirts (blue, red, and green), since I never knew where I would land. The kids gave me really weird looks. Adults, too.

The Power of Your Name!
This video reminds me of my commitment to my Lord Jesus Christ..
To share love to all people as what I received from God and an instrument of worship or in what possible way i can do to God’s ministry. To make Him pleased in my life.. ’till my last breath.
Its really inspired me more..
Thanks for this video..

@carag63 I did some research on La Sagrada Familia. It turns out that construction began in 1882 and it is not expected to be completed until 2026! It’s funny you asked this question today, since the Pope will be consecrating the cathedral as a basilica tomorrow, Nov 7, 2010.

@carag63 I believe this is on the doors to the entrance of La Sagrada Familia, a huge Roman-Catholic cathedral in Barcelona, Spain.

WE Preach a religious Gospel to bring about religious people. We preach a spiritual Gospel to bring about spiritual people. But Christ the Love of God, commissioned us share Gospel about the Loving Creator God who not only through words but also Through actions brought the redemption of the World that rejected the Creator. SO are we really following His commission!
Loved this song and it challenged how I live my life..

@JAZZI393049 Going To church does not make you a Christian, but the Bible does say……. Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:25

@MUEagle2002 I too am deeply saddened and grieved that was your experience with Christians. I too have experienced grief from some who have called themselves “Christians”. Sometimes I even felt like quitting church. Thankfully, I now go to a church where there is MUCH better support and love than the other churches i had been to. I too wish you would have found that church. I too offer you love and care, and not judgement.

@MUEagle2002 I am so sorry that was your experience. Many Christ followers are a major work in process. We are supposed to be there for anyone that is hurting above our own selfish wants, but we are raised by society to get all of our desires. It is a struggle. We are human. I wish that you went to our church and I was there for you in your time of need. No judgement, just love and guidance. I love you and Jesus loves you.

@87PercentEvil
Some of the people I knew said the same thing about how they would love me despite the hardships of life. Or diffiuclty, When my life didn’t go as planned many of those who were close bailed as I struggled with a lot of hard questions, deep doubt, especially in a chruch infected by the prosperity gospel (and now I wasn’t at a Joel Olstein like church). I came to the conclusion that God doesn’t exist and that Christians are the single biggest argument for atheism.
