    I just bought the CD with this on it from 1986..I had it new in 86 as a cassette…loved it and still do! Hard to believe it has been 24 years since it was new…time stands still!

    The intro and end of this song is sung by Richard Page, from the 80′s group Mr. Mister. I’ve loved this song since it came out in 1986. One of her best!!

    This poor woman has had to endure so much judgment in her lifetime. She did some secular songs and people flipped out. Her marriage failed and people boycotted her. It’s insane. I wouldn’t want to be held to these people’s standards. They expect a pop artist to have the morals of Christ–truth is, she does pretty darn well. She’s a gracious, gentle, kind person, and she seems to sincerely love God. Fruits of the spirit.

    music is what draws me further towards christianity. It seems like christians have the best songs.
