   Really like this song. God used it to encourage me, when I first started following Him. 20 years later, I now appreciate the guidence in it, that I wished I had held onto.

   Actually this song was written for Amy by Gary Chapman, the man with curily hair harmonizing with her. He became her first husbend. The idea is to have compassion. Just like the Father(God).

    Amy Grant has a ministry that reaches out and touches the hurting – you know largely younger ones who have been hurt and bruised within the church who have wandered. The Good Shepherd left the 90 + 9 for that 1 He set out to seek and to save – thanks Amy keep going on

    Actually, Gary Chapman composed this song. She later married him but they subsequently divorced.
